REBUILD A STRONGER FOUNDATION. REIGNITE THE SPARK.

Couples Therapy Online Across NY, NJ, CT, & FL

Neither of you are ready to give up on the love you share, but you’re feeling less hopeful than you used to.

The bond you thought was rock solid is feeling more brittle everyday. Even when you’re not arguing or dealing with a crisis, the conversations you have with each other seem so surface-level and hollow. And when you are arguing, it never really seems to have a resolution—you just go back to “normal” until something happens to start the fight back up again.

Maybe things have been especially challenging recently because of a major life change or infidelity in the relationship. It’s hard to find common ground and heal from what’s happened when it feels like you’re not even speaking the same language most of the time.

But despite all that, you both remember what your love was like before life got in the way. Watching each other drift away is heartbreaking. You just wish you could understand your partner and communicate without things spiraling out of control.

My approach

Creating space for both of you.

In the work we’ll do together, it’s important that we are all on the same side—the side of wanting the relationship to grow in a positive direction.

I’ll encourage you to work together as a couple to address challenges, improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen your connection. This will require each of your willingness to be introspective, take responsibility for your part in the existing dynamic, and show up to sessions with an open mind and commitment to honesty. With this mindset, we can rebuild the foundations of the relationship and help it grow into the lasting love you always dreamed it would be.

Once we’ve gotten to know each other a bit,we can set some goals for our work.

Session-to-session, I’ll not only help you bridge the gap in communication between the two of you, but also help you understand why the gap exists in the first place. I’ll customize tools and skills that will help you move through and resolve conflicts without things blowing up into a fight—because conflict doesn’t have to be a negative thing.

The activities we’ll do together will vary based on what works best for you both, and I’m always open to feedback you have about the process.

I’ll often send you home with “homework” or things to practice outside of our sessions, because that’s where the real work begins. We’ll follow up together on how these assignments went, and adjust how we move forward based on the results.

Above all, the work we do will be an exploration of each of you and the relationship you share. In the end, you’ll discover that you can have the connection and intimacy you want, once you know how to meet each other halfway.

It’s time to transform how you love each other.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • The in-session experience can vary based on the individuals involved, but overall, couples therapy is like a workout for your relationship. It's a safe space where both partners can talk openly about their feelings and concerns, with the guidance of an unbiased professional. Together, we explore patterns of communication, learn to understand each other, and find healthier ways to navigate conflicts. This can strengthen the relationship’s connection and help the day-to-day go more smoothly.

  • Every couple is different, but couples therapy can help both parties find a path forward. If both partners are willing to work together to rebuild trust, understand what led to the infidelity, and figure out how to move forward in a more positive direction, it is possible that the overall relationship can improve in the process.

  • There's no strict rule on when couples should start therapy, but it's a great idea to consider it when you're facing challenges you’d like to have support through. These can range from day-to-day issues like arguing or feeling disconnected to a life transition like moving in together, getting married, or having kids, or addressing a specific incident like infidelity or a loss. Whatever you’re facing as a couple, therapy can offer valuable insights and tools to help you navigate it more effectively.
