HELPING YOU LIVE A LIFE FULL OF LOVE, JOY, & FULFILLMENT.

Because you deserve it.

Committing to change is hard, but continuing to live unsatisfied is harder.

How many times have you set your alarm earlier than you normally would thinking “Tomorrow’s the day I get it together,” only to hit snooze and end up rushing out the door anyway? How many times have you had the same fight with your partner, or if you’re single, ended up dating the same kind of person you always do? How much longer will you settle for a life you’re not really happy with?

I work with people who want to…

Communicate better.

Tell people what you want and need from them in a considerate way, and express feelings without losing control.

Build healthier habits.

Shift your routine in a meaningful way so you can eat, sleep, exercise, and feel better.

Have stronger emotional connections.

Feel closer to and have deeper bonds with the people you care about most.

Manage life better.

Find an approach to organization that works for you, and make more room for quality time with loved ones.

Become more assertive.

Be able to say “no” when you’re stretched too thin, without feeling selfish.

IF THESE SOUND LIKE YOUR GOALS, YOU’RE IN THE RIGHT PLACE.

My specialties include…

My approach

You don’t fit a traditional mold—your therapy shouldn’t either.

I’ve heard from a lot of my clients that when they tried therapy before, they didn’t get much out of it because it was too structured, or the therapist they went to didn’t offer much useful advice. I’m not that kind of therapist.

Don’t get me wrong, I definitely want to listen to your story and help you reflect on it yourself, but I’m pretty “hands on” when it comes to exploring ways to improve your life. My hope is that our sessions don’t feel like the kind of therapy you see on TV, but more like creative brainstorming sessions revolving around the life you want to create for yourself.

Offering support & guidance in a way that resonates.

Once we’ve gotten to know each other a bit, I’ll be able to create tools, visual aids, and an approach to the work we do together that are all completely customized to you. I’m flexible and open to your feedback as well, so if something isn’t working for you, I want to know so we can pivot to something else that will. Therapy is a process, and I want to be your collaborator through it.

I pull from many different methods in sessions, including but not limited to Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and play therapy, which I gained experience in when I worked with kids early in my career.

For creative people, these methods can be especially helpful because they allow for coping with intense feelings in a way that doesn’t seem overwhelming.

The basis for most of the work we’ll do is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), because a lot of the dissatisfaction we feel stems from our thoughts or beliefs about ourselves or the world around us. Thoughts turn into feelings, feelings turn into actions or behaviors, and those influence our external lives. So to change our lives, we must first change our thoughts. It’s easier said than done, but I want to equip you with everything you need to do just that.
