Frequently asked questions

GOT QUESTIONS? I’VE GOT ANSWERS.

  • I’m based in New York City, but can provide online therapy to anyone in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Florida.

  • No, I do not offer in-person sessions.

  • I do not accept insurance. Some advantages to not using your insurance for services are:

    1. You are in control of your care, including choosing your therapist, length of treatment, etc.

    2. Increased privacy and confidentiality (except for limits of confidentiality).

    3. You do not have a mental health disorder diagnosis on your medical record.

    4. Consulting with me on non-psychiatric issues that are important to you and aren’t billable by insurance, such as learning how to cope with life changes, gaining more effective communication techniques for your relationships, increasing personal insight, and developing healthy new skills.

  • 45 minute Individual Session: $175

    60 minute Couple Session: $200

I provide limited openings with sliding scale options for clients facing financial constraints. Payments will be collected at the start of the session.

  • You can click on the contact tab and submit a request for a free 15-minute consultation.

  • I request a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel your appointment. If you do not cancel your appointment at least 48 hours ahead of time or do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged the full session fee. This is to ensure that I can offer services to others if you cannot attend.
